General
  • Creator: A user who has an account on Mocaas.
  • Audience: A user who has an account on creator’s website.
  • Active audience: An audience who has already signed up and verified the email.
  • Inactive audience: An audience who has already signed up but has not verified the email yet.
  • Free audience: An active audience who doesn’t subscribe, rent, or purchase any video/content creator.
  • Paid audience: An active audience who subscribes, rents, or purchases video/content creator.
  • CMS (Content Management System): A creator who uses Mocaas to manage content and website. CMS appears after a creator signs in to Mocaas.
  • Roadmap: A plan of upcoming features by Mocaas.
  • Account email: An email that is used when signing up.
  • Contact email: An email that is used to contact creator directly. Contact email appears on homepage footer of creator’s website.

Website
  • Website: A video streaming platform which is owned by creator and contains uploaded content.
  • Site: A short form of website.
  • Website name: Name of creator’s website or platform.
  • Subdomain: The part of domain that comes before the main domain name used by creator for website email.
  • Homepage: Creator The main page or home of creator’s website that contains content and category of creator.
  • Banner: A custom image on the homepage contained content or categories.
  • Content page: A page that contains details of content, such as title. player, description, etc. 
  • Video player: Playback of the video on content page.
  • My list: A page that contains saved content by an audience.
  • Thumbnail: An image for representation of content.
  • Home thumbnail: The representation of image when content is available on the homepage catalog.
  • Player thumbnail: The representation of image on video player before content is played on content page.
  • Featured category image: The representation of image when content is available on the homepage banner.
  • Tagline: A catchphrase on browser tab and search page.
  • Logo: menjadi default logo kalau Creator gak mengupload logo. A symbol on the upper right hand corner of creator’s website. Website name will be logo by default if a creator does not upload a logo.
  • Favicon: A small icon on tab browser.

Content
  • Content: Video or other visual moving images distributed via Mocaas
  • Video: A visual moving image which is part of content.
  • Transcoding: The process of converting file from one format to another.
  • Published: Content that is available or live on website.
  • Unpublished: Content that is still on draft and not available publicly. 
  • Schedule: Content that will be published at a particular time.

Categories
  • Category: A class or group to represent content.
  • Parent: The highest hierarchy of category of content or a category that owns subcategory.
  • Position: Sort categories on the homepage.

SEO
  • Title tag: The title of content page that appears on search engine or browser tab.
  • Meta description: A short description that appears under title tag on search engine.
  • URL handle: The part of URL that comes after domain which is separated by a slash (/).

Monetization
  • Monetization: The process of converting a video/content into money.
  • Plan: Package
  • Subscription plan: A monetization model that implements subscription to a package for a certain period.
  • Subscribe: An activity or action of subscribing to a package within a certain period.
  • One-time payment: A single purchase of one video for a lifetime.
  • Buy: An activity or action of buying content in one purchase for a lifetime.
  • Rental: A purchase for period of time.
  • Rent: An activity or action of renting content within a certain period.
  • Earnings: Net income or the amount of money that the Creator receives from monetizing all of his content.
  • Amount: The gross income or the amount of money that the Creator receives per transaction.
  • Fee: Fees charged by Mocaas and/or payment providers (Stripe, for example) per transaction.
  • Net: Net income or the amount of money the Creator receives per transaction.
  • Currency: The currency that Creator uses to monetize content.
  • Payment provider: A third-party service that enables to conduct financial transactions online. Example: Stripe, Paypal, Xendit, etc.
  • Payment method: The method or way in which transactions are paid for. Example: Credit card, e-wallet, bank transfer, etc.

Billing
  • Billing: Billing information received by Creator or Audience.
  • Plan: Package
  • Video storage: The storage capacity of all Creator's videos.
  • Video bandwidth: The capacity of video bandwidth owned by creator.
  • Receipts: Proof of payment.
  • Payment method: The method or way in which transactions are paid for. Example: Credit card, e-wallet, bank transfer, etc.
  • Grace period (for internal only): A set length of time when the Creator has not paid for his subscription due to problems occurs with credit card. 
  • Locked: The time period of Creator's account and website lockout after the due date.
